【摘要】:ThisStandardspecifiesthegeometryandmethodofuse(installationandoperatingconditions)forpressuredifferentialdevices(including,butnotlimitedto,orificeplates,flownozzles,andventuritubes)wheninstalledinaclosedconduitrunningfullandusedtodeterminetheflow-rateofthefluidflowingintheconduit.ThisStandardappliestopressuredifferentialdevicesinwhichtheflowremainssubsonicthroughoutthemeasuringsectionandwherethefluidisconsideredassingle-phase.TheStandardislimitedtosingle-phaseNewtonianfluidflowinwhichtheflowcanbeconsideredsufficientlyfreefrompulsationeffects.Itgivesinformationforcalculatingtheflow-rateandtheassociateduncertaintywheneachofthesedevicesisusedwithinspecifiedlimitsofpipesizeandReynoldsnumber.
