【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61290appliestoallcommerciallyavailableopticalamplifiers(OAs)andopticallyamplifiedsub-systems.ItappliestoOAsusingopticallypumpedfibres(OFAsbasedoneitherrare-earthdopedfibresorontheRamaneffect),semiconductors(SOAs),andwaveguides(POWAs).NOTETheapplicabilityofthetestmethodsdescribedinthepresentstandardtodistributedRamanamplifiersisforfurtherstudy.Theobjectofthisstandardistoestablishuniformrequirementsforaccurateandreliablemeasurements,bymeansoftheelectricalspectrumanalyzertestmethod,ofthefollowingOAparameters,asdefinedinClause3ofIEC61291-1:a)nominaloutputsignalpowerb)gain;c)reversegain;d)maximumgain;e)polarization-dependentgain;f)large-signaloutputstability;g)saturationoutputpower;h)maximuminputsignalpower;i)maximumoutputsignalpower;j)inputpowerrange;k)outputpowerrange;l)maximumtotaloutputpower.Inadditionthistestmethodprovidesameansformeasuringthefollowingparameters:?maximumgainwavelength;?gainwavelengthband.NOTEAllnumericalvaluesfollowedby(?)aresuggestedvaluesforwhichthemeasurementisassured.Othervaluesmaybeacceptable,butshouldbeverified.Theobjectofthisstandardisspecificallydirectedtosingle-channelamplifiers.Formultichannelamplifiers,oneshouldrefertotheIEC61290-10series1.
